Xpeng G9
Performance (2023)
At -1 °C on winter tyres, the Xpeng G9 Performance went 468 km at 90 km/h, using less energy than the Mercedes EQS SUV. It proved as quiet as the EQS SUV at about half the price, and the comfort and very fast charging won praise. The XPilot driver assistance was the weak point: it zigzagged, braked hard in gentle curves and sometimes did not ask for hands on the wheel at all. Verdict: a great car for the money, as long as XPilot stays off.
