Tesla Model Y

Performance Juniper

On wet roads at around 12 °C, the Tesla Model Y Performance Juniper with its new, slightly larger LG battery covered 471 km at 90 km/h. Consumption was remarkably low for a performance car in the rain, and the supportive seats and a ride more comfortable than in older Model Ys, even in sport mode, won praise. Phantom braking and a software change that removed the double press for Autopilot drew criticism. Charging held 250 kW at first but then dropped sharply, apparently because the battery ran hot.
