NIO ET5 Touring
100 kWh
In the winter test at around -2 °C, the NIO ET5 Touring covered 425 km at 90 km/h, a good range from its big battery. It is not among the most efficient cars, but the estate was a real favourite for its sporty yet spacious feel, quiet cabin and soft, i4-like ride. The driver assistance no longer slowed down in curves, but road grime soon blocked the uncleaned lidar and switched it off, and a battery swap stalled until staff helped. The hope: that NIO fixes the remaining software annoyances.
