Lotus Eletre
S
Few cars in the tests lose as little range at 120 km/h as the Lotus Eletre S, which went 490 km at 90 km/h and 382 km at 120 km/h. Consumption was good for a performance SUV on huge tyres, and it was the first car in the tests seen charging at over 300 kW. It was a hit from the start: the ride, the soundproofing and the KEF sound system, which ranks with the very best. Glossy, reflective trim was a minor complaint; the verdict is that German premium brands should be worried.
