Hyundai Inster
Long Range
At a mild 12 °C, the Hyundai Inster Long Range used just 145 Wh/km at 90 km/h, one of the lowest figures in the winter-season tests. At 120 km/h, however, consumption rose by about 50%, more than in most cars, which was put down to poor aerodynamics, and charging was not very fast. It proved comfortable for its size but fairly noisy, and the autosteer and clever sliding seats won praise. Among affordable small cars, it comes across as a strong candidate.
