Volvo EX30 Single Motor Extended Range

Range test

Volvo EX30

Single Motor Extended Range

The Volvo EX30 Single Motor Extended Range covered 414 km at 90 km/h in the summer test at 22 °C, well ahead of the Twin Motor Performance. Both had the same tyres, but the twin-motor test was colder, so it is unclear how much the drivetrain matters. The car felt quick but a bit loud at speed, and the cruise control's following distance resets on every drive. Since the bigger ID.4 and Model Y use less energy, buyers presumably choose the Volvo for reasons other than efficiency.
