Volkswagen ID.3
Pure 55 kWh (2025)
The 2025 Volkswagen ID.3 Pure 55 kWh used 144 Wh/km at 90 km/h in a test at around 15 °C, good for 353 km of range. That beats the earlier ID.3 Pure, which had less usable capacity and charged at only about 100 kW. The basic trim proved comfortable and quiet and the manual battery preheating was welcome, but the standard sound system got just four out of ten. Its strength is charging: 148 kW at Ionity with a flat curve, so it should still travel far in good time.
