The Seres 5 80 kWh covered 352 km at 90 km/h in the winter-season test, run at a mild 11 °C but at night on wet roads. The soft Nappa leather, the ventilated massage seats and the decent soundproofing were highlights. The software had many flaws, though: chimes that cannot be turned down, laggy menus, far-off arrival estimates and lane centring that wandered badly in the dark. The sound system got about five out of ten, but the car itself seems fine and most problems could be fixed with software updates.
