Renault 5 E-Tech
52 kWh
The Renault 5 E-Tech is one of the most efficient cars in the summer tests, but its relatively small battery limits it to about 360 km at 90 km/h. The light, nimble feel and the Google-based infotainment went down well, but it proved noisy at motorway speed, and the rear seat and boot are tiny. The Harman Kardon sound system earned six out of ten. Compared to the similarly sized Hyundai Inster, the verdict leans slightly towards the Renault, mainly because of the Google software.
