NIO EL8
100 kWh
NIO's flagship EL8 covered 484 km at 90 km/h in the summer test at around 17 °C and loses less range at 120 km/h than most cars. It proved exceptionally quiet and comfortable, with luxuries like rear-seat massage and a fridge, though power fluctuations on cruise control spoiled the smoothness. It was more efficient than the older ES8, and with a second-generation swap battery it charged at around 240 kW at a Tesla Supercharger despite its 400-volt system. However, a battery swap may leave you with an older, slower-charging pack.
