BYD Tang
108.8 kWh (2024)
The BYD Tang 108.8 kWh was one of the thirstiest cars in the winter-season tests, covering 388 km at 90 km/h at around -4 °C. Its autosteer wandered badly at times, and the car does not preheat the battery, so it had to be warmed by accelerating hard before charging reached 170 kW. At 2,720 kg it feels heavy, and it probably still uses an older platform than the Sealion 7. Overall it came across as somewhat disappointing and a bit outdated, though good value for money.
