BYD Sealion 7
91.3 kWh AWD Excellence
In the range tests, the BYD Sealion 7 91.3 kWh AWD covered 471 km at 90 km/h at 15 °C in summer and 396 km at -7 °C in winter. In this summer retest it proved about as thirsty as the smaller-battery version driven in Thailand, which eats into the benefit of its fast, flat charging. The soundproofing, comfort and seats won praise, but the driver attention warning was oversensitive and autosteer unreliable at merges. A Tesla Model Y appears more efficient, but the Sealion 7 is still a comfortable package.
