BYD Seal U
87 kWh Design
The front-wheel-drive BYD Seal U covered 421 km at 90 km/h at around 10 °C in the summer test and loses relatively little range at 120 km/h. The quiet cabin made a big impression, on par with far pricier German premium cars, and the Infinity sound system earned seven out of ten. Criticism went to the jerky cruise control, which kept speeding up and slowing down, and a heater that struggled to keep the cabin warm. Fast charging reached the advertised 140 kW, and the overall package was judged very good for the price.
