MG MGS5 EV 64 kWh

Range test

MG MGS5 EV

64 kWh

The MG MGS5 EV 64 kWh used 154 Wh/km at 90 km/h at 16 °C in the range test, about the same as the smaller MG4, for 418 km of range. The performance, comfort and soundproofing won praise, putting it among the quieter cars measured, and the driver assistance proved smoother than in the MG4. Criticism went to software quirks, useless arrival estimates and occasional phantom braking, and the sound system got four or five out of ten. For a roomy crossover at this price, the range was judged good.
