Weiheng HEMS: TL;DR
Zerofy transforms your Weiheng PV system into a complete Home Energy Management System (HEMS). Monitor production, optimize self-consumption, and control your connected devices – all from one app. No additional hardware required.
About Weiheng
Weiheng (Jiangsu Weiheng Intelligent Technology, Wuxi, China) is a battery storage maker; in 2025 Weiheng Energy Storage and its home brand ECACTUS were merged into the WHES brand. For homes it sells all-in-one hybrid storage systems: the single-phase PP-S2 (3.6–10 kW, 4.99–19.9 kWh) and the three-phase PP-T1 (5–13 kW, 9.98–29.94 kWh). Its monitoring app is ECOS.
What is a Home Energy Management System?
A HEMS (Home Energy Management System) helps you get the most out of your solar installation. It monitors your PV production in real-time and automatically steers connected devices like EV chargers, heat pumps, and smart plugs to maximize self-consumption.
With Zerofy as your Weiheng HEMS, you can:
- Monitor real-time solar production and home consumption
- Optimize self-consumption through intelligent device control
- Save on electricity bills with dynamic tariff integration
- Track your energy independence and CO₂ savings
Key Features
Real-time Monitoring
See live data from your Weiheng inverter: current production, consumption, grid feed-in, and battery status.
Smart Autopilot
Automatically control EV charging, heat pumps, and appliances based on solar surplus.
Dynamic Tariffs
Integrate electricity spot prices (Tibber, aWATTar, etc.) to optimize for cost savings.
What Weiheng offers on its own
Before connecting Weiheng to Zerofy, it helps to know what Weiheng offers on its own:
- EV charging: WHES sells its own AC chargers (e.g. WH-ECA-7.0 with 7 kW, 32 A, plus a 22 kW model) that it describes as compatible with PV and battery systems, with load balancing. The ECOS app manages EV chargers, but WHES doesn’t publish how surplus charging works or which third-party wallboxes are supported.
- Heating: WHES lists heating among the functions of its ECOS energy management, along with tariff-based planning, but names no heat pump brands and doesn’t mention SG Ready.
- Other loads: WHES says ECOS can switch conventional appliances through smart plugs, without naming the plug models.
How It Works
- Connect your Weiheng system – Zerofy connects through Weiheng’s partner cloud: you enter your system’s serial number in Zerofy, and Zerofy links the device and reads inverter, meter and battery data.
- Add your devices – Connect your EV, charger, heat pump, or smart plugs
- Enable Autopilot – Let Zerofy automatically optimize for solar self-consumption
- Track your savings – Monitor your energy independence and cost savings
